I could not, at any age, be content to take my place by the fireside and simply look on. Life was meant to be lived. Curiosity must be kept alive. One must never, for whatever reason, turn his back on life.” - Eleanor Roosevelt

This weekend we were lucky to have a few little visitors to our house. First was this little cutie. You probably don't recognize little Emma from 2008, she is almost two now and so much fun.
She was fascinated with Archer and he enjoyed her a lot. I love that he is old enough to watch out for her without being asked and that he was concerned with where she was and if the cats were being okay with her.
And...I love that he let me take his picture while Emma was hanging out on the chair while he was on the computer. He's been a bit camera shy lately.
She really is her father's daughter. She found Archer's airsoft goggles and immediately wanted them ON!

We also had a great visit with these cutie kids and their wonderful parents. We were lucky enough that Katrina brought us some of these...and left us with enough left over frosting to make some of our own cupcakes this week. I'm loving the sprinkles she made for the top...decorator icing w/ pumpkin pie spice...ah YUM!
