The way you get meaning into your life is to devote yourself to loving others, devote yourself to your community around you, and devote yourself to creating something that gives you purpose and meaning.”- Morrie Schwartz

My poor blog has been looking pretty sad the last few months. Poor, sweet blog needs some love. And I need to get back to center (or a little off of center as some like to call me). My life has felt a little out of balance lately...getting caught up in drama that is not my own, my focus drifting from center. Sounds very vague and it is I know...sorry.

So, my goal is to get back here. Blogging about this and that...and reading all of your this and that as well....back to center!
Tik. Oh my. What an addition this little guy has been to our home. He is a black and white bundle of...let's call it energy (that is putting it nicely). One day he was out and about and got stuck in a tree. STUCK. IN. A. TREE. I had to climb on a chair, grab the branch and he launched himself onto my back...
Oh Tik...he's trouble. He has no fear. He likes water. He wants to eat the bird (really, really bad). He is naughty. But we love him.

Thankful for: my guys, as always; our sweet kitties; our home. Simple. That's all I need.

  1. I totally hear you ... because I'm sure you've noticed (right, you have, haven't you? lol) I haven't blogged much lately either. It's SO easy to fall out of the habit & SO hard to get back into it. Hope it goes better for you than it has for me. :)

Tik ... he makes me laugh. I told you ... he may like water but a fresh can of Aqua Net & a flame may scare him a little ... I mean come on, fire is SCARY! hahaha

  3. Oh Tik seems like he'd bring all kinds of energy into your lives! I hope you're able to easily find center and rest. Welcome back to blog land, and I think we all understand what you're going through. Have a great weekend!

  4. I hear you about that blogging thing. I can't even stay caught up on reading all the millions that I subscribe to, let alone writing in my own. *sigh* We should work on getting a few more hours added to the day. I'm sure that would solve the problem! LOL

    Cute kitty. :)

  5. You and me both, Jerrie... drifting... drifting... and (for me) sucked into the whirlpool that is Facebook. I forget how many of my friends and family don't do social networking. They're missing the updates. And I'm missing my writing outlet. I just posted a very similar, "I need to get back in touch with my inner blogger" kind of post :)
