Really?

I was listening to the radio as I was dropping the boy off at school and evidently it is Measure Your Feet Day. No foolin'! You can't make this stuff up. Well, obviously someone or ones makes this stuff up, but really...Crazy no?

Since Archer went to school and Troy may get a trifle upset if I wake him to measure his feet I will tell you that my left foot is 9.5 inches long and 3 inches at its widest and my right foot is 9.25 inches long and 3 inches at its widest. Measuring your own feet isn't the easiest thing to do (just a little FYI) - made me want one of those feet measuring thingies!

If you really like this holiday I think it is my duty to let you know you can buy your own mug. Here. So, enjoy!

  1. Love it! Although, the thought of taking a similar shot in twelve-ish years is a little freaky (freakier that it'll happen so quickly)...

So, you've inspired me to grab a shot of my shoes & Erik's today. Although his shoes are infinitely cooler than mine. (Maybe some shopping is in order this weekend!)

  2. If I'd have known there was an OFFICIAL day for this I would've waited to do that picture of my foot next to Calob's. I don't know about actually measuring my feet though. The small measurement could be embarrassing. :(

  3. Thanks for letting me know about this holiday. However, I shall refrain from "celebrating" as I have a big problem with feet. They squick me out and make my stomach a look ooky feeling. But good luck to everyone that chooses to "celebrate!" May your nasty feet be as large or small as you had hoped! LOL
