Today direct from fourth grade:

Student (looking at my family pictures): Wow your sister is really pretty.

Me: Yes she is.

Student: You don't look like her.

Me: No, no I don't (and thanks for pointing out I am not a 5'11", skinny, blonde...I totally didn't even notice!).

Happy Wednesday!

  1. I'm sorry but that's funny! And it sounds like the comparisons of me and my sis (the cheerleader) growing up:)

  2. Yeah, I've had the exact same thing said to me. And my sisters are tall and blonde too. Sigh.

  4. You gotta love the bluntness of a pre-teen! My nephews and nieces are starting to say things like that too. Sounds like you're having fun though.

  5. Beautiful... ;o)

You guys especially don't look alike when D matches her orange shoes to that other accessory, um, I mean undergarment (worn as an accessory). Hehehe!

Hopefully the little guy will learn to be more observant someday because you ladies do have two of the most important features in common - gorgeous eyes that smile when you do, and beautiful smiles.

    Happy Friday!!
