They went out to build a snow fort (and throw a couple snow balls). I, while I love the snow and snow days, do not enjoy being outdoors in the snow. I usually only venture out to take a few pictures and occasionaly pick up or drop off a kid.
And the cats finally mellowed out enough to slumber their way through the day. Ellie May is quite upset about the snow - she really wants to go out, but this snow is making it difficult. Jazz has been sleeping most of the day with a few moments of being tempted outside, but stopping short when feeling the snow on her paw. And Horton...Horton isn't really interested in the snow as he is a fully indoor cat (oh, he does like an occasional jaunt out with us in nice weather, but that is unusual)...He has been sleeping the day away.
By the way - I did finish cleaning my room - picture to come! :)
I can't tell from the pictures, but do they boys have shoes on their feet? LOL

Boy am I jealous of those cats! They sure do look peaceful and comfy!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you took some pictures! Calob really wanted to go play but yeah, I was kinda specific in NOT wanting to get stuck in the alley. I'm silly like that sometimes. ☺
ReplyDeleteI love the picture of the cats. That's how most of my day was spent, with me in the middle of the kitties. I can totally feel for Ellie May ... inside is the ONLY place to be on a day like today.
Awwww...it's nice to see such mellow pets. Today I chased devil-dog through the barn...while he chased cows. Tonight devil-dog still stinks like cow poo even though he has had two baths. Not a happy mellow pet day here.
